This website is not your average site for faith based women. Rather it is designed specifically to address the subject of abuse towards women and girls.
Being a woman of faith myself, and having endured and survived a variety of abuses over time, I began to question the history, translation and understanding of these things. For decades I could find no one who could, or would, answer my questions.
In a search for answers I began to study and learn the ancient pictographs where the language of scripture originated from. After many years of intense study this website was created (2007) and continues to grow and expand. Mis-translation, mis-understandings and bias throughout time has perpetuated the abuse of women for far too long and it's time to set the record straight and be truly set free.
Here, at Chayil Ishah, I reveal and explain many of these mis-translations found in scripture regarding what YHWH says to and about women in addition to the soon coming resources for healing of mind, body, spirit and heart after abuse.
YHWH says He came to 'heal' the broken hearted and that includes women.
