How important is faith and hope in the process of healing?
Studies done by many medical groups and organizations over the years have shown that hope and a positive attitude can have a great and positive impact when it comes to healing. Even those who do not know YHWH show amazing improvement when they cling to hope and a positive attitude. How much more so will healing come when we have faith in the One who created us - YHWH?
Even so - very often not only are we told to have faith - but also to take action; and that action could be in a number of areas such as: forgiveness, rest, diet, excercize, cleansing and more. In scripture we see several examples of this; and in present life He will guide each individual to what 'they' need in their own healing and lives just as He did with those that He healed in scripture that we read about. All of these things will be generally covered in separate pages - but for this first page we will look at the subject of faith.
One more thing I would like to point out is the difference between 'instantaneous healing' and 'progressive healing'. Very often people have been incorrectly taught that if we pray, and YHWH does not heal instantly, or according to the timeline, or order, that 'we' have prayed for - then that means we must accept out illness and wait, or we must not have enough faith, or maybe YHWH is punishing us - on and on the condemnation goes whether by self or by well meaing abeit uninformed friends.
Very often I have heard the statement: Well, I am still sick so it must be for a good reason" and then they give up saying it is 'gods' will. I also have seen an enormous amount of self-condemnation believing it is their own fault for a lack of faith. Very often however it is simply that 'some' not all of course, people are wanting an instantaneous healing and YHWH has other plans of the timeline.
But YHWH tells us to never give up when we are praying for something that is in the will of YHWH to be done, to never give up in the face of difficulty; and healing is something that YHWH desires for people. Healing of herts, minds and bodies.
When we look at all that YHW the Savior did while walking amongst us in the flesh - it was hugely all about healing - He showed us by His actions His compassion for the ill and His desire to heal them. And this brings us to 'faith'. Faith in what? First of all - faith in His love for us, and His desire to see us whole and well - that is love. So our first faith - is faith that He actually loves us and wants to see us healed and whole!
Secondly, the faith we need to look at is that He is 'able'. That the Name of YHWH is powerful indeed and able to heal. A person today might think - well that was then, this is now and He isn't walking with us. Well, yes He is, and not only that but the Ruwach of YHWH, who is filled with wisdom and knowledge and who will teach us and remind us of all things, the comforter - will also teach you individually the wisdom and knowledge you need to be healed.
Whether that wisdom is in the foods He gaves us, the healing herbs, or the forgiveness that needs to come - He is with you and He will lead you and guide you according to His knowledge of your life and heart. So we absolutely can have faith in the power of the Qaduwsha Ruwach of YHWH as He leads you.
If He has led you here, to this site, as a beginning - then that is the power and love of the Ruwach leading you - have faith. These pages are only meant to give you a jump start, an encouragement, some general information and some ideas according to scripture and knowledge of how to search and where - to never give up.
But more than physical healing - He shows us clearly in MatithYAHUW 9:2 that healing of our hearts and the healing of our relationship with Him is the MOST important kind of healng we can have. And I can say that I have experienced this.
Diagnosed with a cross-over of multiple auto-immune diseases, and having a crushed heart from various abuses, stresses and events, from various sources over a 45 year period - I was a very ill person.
But YHWH led me through a step by step process of healing. First there were habits of foods, sleep, excercize and medicines I needed to change and develope giving me a fighting chance and a bit more strength to endure what would come - as healing is not alway pain-'less'.
Then came the inner healing. While I desired physical healing - He put me flat on my back for 6 months and I had no choice but to face, and deal with, and allow Him into, those areas of the heart and life that needed to be healed. Areas I had allowed no one to touch for decades.
At the beginning I didn't realize how unforgiveness, anger, and 'stuffing' and negative emotions played a part in the physical condition of my body. At the end of 6 months - I understood 'very' well.
The next step was a more agressive approach to the physical habits again - foods, herbs, medications, physical therapy and much more.
This all took place over several years with lots of detailed things happening all the while - as there were many layers that needed His healing touch and wisdom. Not all healing for all people will come in the same way. For you or your loved one - it may very well be different in time and order and method. But for my experience with Him in His love for us, His desire that we be made well and whole and His ability to heal - this was how it happened. And this is one of the things discussed on some of the recording availabel to you by clicking the links on this site.
There is a beautiful story of a very ill man in the Old Test. who wanted healing - right now. When the prophet told him he needed to go and dip in the river seven times and he would be healed. He balked and left irritated and disappointed. One of his servent said to him, Basically, "Master, if he had told you to do something easy you would have done it - why not do this thing?" (Of course that is my summary of the story) so he realized the servant was right and dipped seven times and was healed.
Healing often takes work, hope, faith, fortitude, action of change and action of seeking. When it happens over night it is wonderful and beautiful. But we should not immediately go into self-condemnation mode if it does not.
I 'know' the healing power in the faith and Name of YHWH and just because a person doesn't see 'instant' healing, does not mean you are not 'being' healed. Patience, effort, being honest and real with Him and 'never' giving up (persistance) is of key importance.
Several times in scripture we see that YHW the Savior says specifically that a person's faith has made them well. But it was not just 'any' faith that is spoken of - it is faith in YHW the Saviors ability and willingness in love, to heal them. It was having absolute 100%, no doubting confidence in Him and His Word and His love for them - the nature of His compassionate heart. And that Word was a promose made by the Father saying:
MatithYHW 8:5-10
When He came into Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, asking Him, and saying, "Master, my servant is bed fast and in my house paralyzed, and in a lot of pain." YHW said to him, "I will come and heal him." The centurion answered, "Master, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just says The Word and my servant will be healed. For I am a man also having understanding about authority, having soldiers under me. I tell this one 'Go,' and he goes. I tell another 'Come,' and he comes. I tell my servant 'Do this' and he does it." When YHW heard this, He was astonished and said to those who followed, "Most assuredly I tell you, I have not yet found a greater faith than this, no, not in all Yasarel.
MatithYHW 9:22
Then YHW, turning around and seeing her, said, "Daughter, shout for joy. Your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that very hour.
MatithYHW 9:27-29
As YHW walked directly from there, two blind men followed Him, calling out and saying, "Have mercy on us, Son of Dauwid."When He had come into a Bethiya, the blind men came to Him. YHW said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to him, "Yes, my Master."Then He touched their eyes saying, "Then according to your faith be it done to you."
MatithYHW 15:28
Then YHW answered her, "Woman, great is your faith. Be it done to you as you request, for you are truly a YHWan Yashralite." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
We must always remember that 'faith' is not the same thing as being gullible to whims. If a person says, "Here, jump off this cliff - if 'god' loves you He will save you." - My recommendation is DON'T DO IT!! :)
No, rather faith in YHWH means you believe and 'know' that He loves you, that He desires your healing and that He is able.
