THE HIDDEN SUFFERING
I cannot tell you the number of times I have heard stories of abused and cruelly oppressed women asking for help within the various churches only to be told - 'Just keep submitting', 'Turn the other cheek', Keep praying', 'The Almighty hates divorce', 'Well He must be allowing this for a reason', 'Maybe He is trying to teach you something, ask him what you are supposed to learn from this', 'Well, you must not have fully given your heart to submission'; and, 'A woman's job is to please her husband and if you submit he will be pleased and the abuse will stop'.
All of these responses are shallow, thoughtless and have been the prison for millions of women around the world keeping them bound in abusive situations thinking that somehow it must be their own fault.
That is a LIE!! NO ONE deserves to be abused either physically, or emotionally, or sexually, or verbally or in any other way. There is ALWAYS is a better way to handle anything than to be cruel and abusive. Do not believe the lie anymore!!!
While it is true that we are to respect and honor our husbands (honor does not mean worship), it is absolutely ludicrous to tell a woman that if she accepts the abuse and continues to submit that she will eventually find peace and joy. That is a rotten and foul piece of advice. It is also absurd to tell a woman that the abuse is her own fault because she must not be making her husband happy.
Many women, both in secular 'and' religious societies (including all denominations of Christianity) suffer from depression, anger, bitterness, drug and/or alcohol addiction, suicides, lonliness, isolation, self-condemnation, lack of self value/worth and more due to the abuse they have endured which tells her she is 'less-than'.
Churchs and religious folk of all kinds perpetuate this problem by continuing to teach the old, mis-translated teachings of women to women, and men. Abuses and sufferings run rampant in the church but are kept quiet and hidden.
Abuse comes in many forms: physical, sexual, emotional, verbal, psychological, financial and more. And for those who may not be sure - let me make this clear - infedelity 'is' most definately a form of emotional abuse.
If you are suffering or you know someone who is, please know with all my heart I am speaking the truth when I say that YHWH is not a Mighty Loving Shepherd that would say it is ok to abuse his daughters.
It is time sisters - it is time to find, know and begin living on, and in, the TRUTH of His Word. he loves you, He created you, He values you and you were NOT created as a 'less-than' being; and if anyone tells you differently they are LYING!
Christian women have the typical fear of retaliation if they tell or that others won't believe them just as all abused or repressed women face. But in addition to this, it is taught that submitting to men even in abusive situations is to obey 'God' and therefore many Christian women believe that to stand against what is happening to them is to stand against the Almighty. This is a lie according to scripture and it must stop.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.....
It was prophesied about the Savior that He came to heal the broken hearted, to open the eyes of the blind, to comfort those who are downcast and more. This does not mean that we won't encounter trials, pain, persecution or difficulties in life - especially if we stand by the Name of YHWH. But for the church to teach that it is a woman's lot and forever punishment to endure abuses, be deemed as less-than or banned from using the gifts that her Creator has given her simply because she is a woman is a lie.
That kind of teaching and scripture do not match up and YHWH does not lie. He did not say, 'I will heal your broken hearts, except for women'; He did not say, 'The truth will make you free, except for women', He did not say, 'I have spoken to you so that your joy may be full, except for women', He did not say 'women respect your husbands, husbands, you can treat your wives with all the disrespect you feel like dumping on her.'
What He 'did' say is this....

The Spirit of YHWH is upon me; because YHWH has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek, he has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH and the day of vengeance of our mighty one; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint to them that mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH that he might be glorified; and they will build the old wastes, they will raise up the former desolations and they will repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations......
Luke 4:18
YHWshua said, "The Spirit of YHWH the master is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.....
The word of YHWH speaks not only of the gentle tender nurturing spirit of a woman and honoring those around her; but also of her courage, strength, the power of the 'spirit' (ruach) within her, her ability to make right decisions, her talents and skills and spiritual gifts, her YHWH given intelligence, that she is capable and valiant, that she was created in the image of the mighty one and more.
Genesis1:27
The mighty one created mankind in His own image, in the mighty one's image He created him, male and female he created them....
Within the church itself, women are suffering, children are suffering and men are suffering because of the lies being taught regarding women. It is time for the church to admit there is a problem and lack of knowledge and do something about it; and it starts with knowing who YHWH is! It is time for women to stand up and go directly to Him for their answers and quit bowing to the enemy, the deceiver, the one whom YHWshua called the father of lies. And let us not forget that the enemy is NOT men. That is not to say that the enemy doesn't use men - he does, he uses women also - but no one is more powerful that YHWH our Salvation!
2 Tim. 1:7
For YHWH has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind!
YHWH's Spirit is a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind - why then do both men and women attempt to suppress, diminish or dismiss the power of the ruach simply because He resides in a woman?
